Florist toolbox - the basics

Floral stem wrap: used for boutonieres, floral crowns and corsages.

Paper-covered wire: to make flower crowns, you can use normal wire and cover it with floral tape.

Wire: to make flower crowns, attach materials, etc.

Raffia: to tie your bouquets

Pruners: for branches or to cut multiple stems at once.

Clean buckets and vases before you use them, it helps to extend the life of your flowers

Adding floral preservative encourages the flower to properly start opening, it hydrates and nourishes the flowers too

Cut stems so flowers can keep drinking easily

If your flowers came in plastic, remove it as soon as possible

Change the water regularly

The flowers that we use are NOT intended for humans or pets to be eaten. Please note that some flowers are toxic, some examples: tulips, peonies, ammi, delphinium, etc. Keep your pets away from your flowers. For an extensive list or additional information, contact your vet.
